Dr. Gowri Balachandar, MD

After going to two emergency clinics and my own GP doctor, I finally called Dr. Balachandar's office. As you can imagine, after 6 days of unbelievable pain, being unable to eat little and with little sleep, I was very stressed and somewhat abrasive on the call. None the less, the gentleman that answered the phone listened attentively, immediately understood the situation I was in and informed me that the doctor was on her day but he would call her and have get in touch with me. Less than an hour later, Dr. Balachandar called asked me a few questions and told me that she would immediately send prescription orders to my pharmacy. By the time I got there, my prescriptions were ready. Following Dr. Balachandar's very well explained instructions, I started feeling better the very next day. Better still, on the second day my hiccups and spasms stopped completely and I am as good as new! The receptionist and the doctor understood my situation immediately and took action… disregarding the normal come-and-see-me routine. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Balachandar for the care and attention I got.

Very knowledgeable and bedside manner is firm and compassionate.

Dr Balachandar has given me a better life. I trust her with all my heart because she will go the extra mile to help her patients. Her staffs are extremely helpful and provide great medical care.

I have continuously had problems being a patient here and it's been under 6 months since my first visit. Dr. Balachandar has wrote the wrong prescriptions, filled ones that I am allergic to, has given me false medical advice regarding my medication more than once, which can be extremely dangerous for people who have already been very sick. Her staff is unprofessional and rude. Scale and blood pressure machine are broke and outdated. She is more interested in writing you tons of prescriptions than you actually getting better. She never reviewed my history or recent hospital visits prior to my appointment. She seems to find my health, in particular, to be humorous. She seems to not be very knowledgeable about certain diseases and things that are caused from diseases. I am not really sure what is going on in that office, but something is very wrong and someone should be made aware. I thought I had been getting help seeing her, but I no longer feel she is an experienced or qualified doctor… to treat gastro diseases. There are people who go to work to collect a check, and then there are others who go above and beyond to help people they come in contact with. This is not the case with this office.

I trust Dr Balachandar. She cares more about my pain than my insurance reimbursement. She is very patient even though she seems to move very fast. I am hard of hearing so I request her to raise her voice. My apology goes to all fellow patients in the waiting room. Please don't take my words for it, just stop by and say hello. Her staffs are super friendly.

Had surgery and have not had a follow up at all despite the numerous messages I have left for her. Disappointing, as I do not know the results of the biopsies.

I like her, she takes time with its patient and is very patient also, she listen.

She is my and my husband's Doctor and we could not be more pleased. She is so professional, easy to talk to and always accessible.
