Dr. Grace Fiorentino, DO

It is rather difficult getting an appointment, but that isn’t the fault of the doctor or the staff - there are only so many hours in a day, and when you’ve been a physician as long as Dr. Grace, you’re bound to have many, many patients. What makes her a PHENOMENAL doctor is the care she gives; she will spend whatever amount of time that’s needed in order to answer(and hopefully) resolve your medical concerns. I have NEVER felt rushed or unimportant…EVER! Dr. Grace is the most thorough, most competent doctor I know. Cathy G

I would like to congratulate Dr. Grace Fiorentino on opening her New Practice. The new Practice is located at 524 Maple Ave. Linwood, NJ. Great news for Dr Grace Fiorentino,s existing and new patients.

She is a very good dr. However, when I try to get an appt. it takes a long time, ususally 5 to 6 weeks and end up in either the ER or an urgent care. When the mask mandates were in place and before the vaccines, there were patients in the crowded waiting room (standing) who were not wearing masks. Nothing was done or were they made to wear masks. The office has lost my bloodwork paperwork and when I came in for bloodwork early I waited 2 hours because they couldnt find it. When I made my first appt with Dr. Grace it took me 3 months to get in. I had told the appt. customer service rep that I was switching from another dr. and would like to see Dr. Grace. I figured thats why it took so long to see her. After I saw her, I received a chastising call from the office supervisor that when I wanted to make the appt to see Dr. Grace I was supposed to let the customer rep know I had been seeing a diffferent dr. in the group at another location. Well I did that yet I got blamed for "not… telling them and giving them the curtesy" of switching drs. NO it was your customer service rep that did this. Also I waited 2 hours pre-covid once to be seen. I checked in and watched the waiting room fill up and clear out twice while I still sat there. I was leaving out of state that day and when I went to one of the check in girls she lookedup my info and said, "You checked out" . I said no, I checked IN. They messed up, not me. The office staff is not trained well to handle the typical tasks. another time when I was checking out, she took my lab work that I was given to have done and filed it away somewhere. I told her I need that to come back and get my blood tests. I told her that before she took it. They dont listen. Next door is an xray lab. I had a slip for 2 different body areas. The radiologist person only did one area, completely disregarding the other for no reason. I had to go to AMI for my second xray. When I called Shore Physicians and told them what happened, the customer rep said the xray people (in Northfield) were "slow" her exact words. What a poor excuse for medical treatment. As i write this I received a letter saying Dr. Grace will be leaving the practice. I dont blame her. She can works for a more efficiently run organization. Im done with Shore Physicians Group. They need better management, better training for their office staff.

If you want to be able to get in to see your doctor when you have an immediate need (so everyone) Dr Grace isn’t for you. I was a patient of Dr. Grace for several years. In the begging everything was great. As the years went along it got harder and harder to get in to see her when I was sick or had an immediate need. In the last year the past 2 times I called with an immediate need I was told the first available appointment was 3 months away and to go to urgent care. I recently called to make an appointment because of knee pain I was having and was again told the first available appointment was 3 months away. Feeling slightly frustrated I said “do I need to find and new doctor every time I call I can’t get in”? About 2 weeks later I got a certified letter stating that they’re dropping me as a patient. I found this to be completely unacceptable. What’s the point of having a doctor if you can’t ever get in to see them? Basically she only wants to see patients that don’t… have an immediate need. She obviously doesn’t give a lick about her patients only the money they represent. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where they care about you not just your money.

Been a patient of Dr Fiorentino for almost 20 years. She always takes her time and answers all our questions. She has helped both my husband and I with several issues which could have developed into something more serious. Highly recommend Dr Fiorentino

Dr Grace Fiorentino used to be in a office in Absecon, where she shared an office with her brother. The personal attention that she offered to her patients then was far better than how she treats her patients now that she is her office in Northfield. The wait time in the office is usually at least an hour or more. I have overheard more than one of her older patients talking about how different it is seeing the DR. In this office. It does not matter what you call the DR regarding she will never call you back herself. The office staff is not very friendly and don't appear very happy with their job. I t has been told to me by one of her staff that she is very busy, as she is getting a lot of new patients. Usually if you call for an appointment there is about a month's wait time. I am currently looking for another primary Dr as I have several health problems which it seems she forgets about unless I remind her. At times she gets somewhat nasty when I ask questions about different things.… After all the years my family and I have used her for our DR following her to the Northfield office was the biggest mistakes and I am very upset that obtaining new patients is more important than keeping the patients that have been going to her for years.

Dr. Fiorentino cares about her patients. You never feel she is rushing over you. She takes her time. And cares about your care. I have finally found me a keeper!

One on the most THOROUGH physicians I have ever encountered...in my life....as well as 47 years as a nurse. Great diagnostician, I highly recommend her to friends and family.
