Dr. Graham Sennett Schwarz, MD

The worst decision was going to Cleveland Clinic and Dr. Schwarz! I went to him in February, 2025 to discuss a prophylactic mastectomy. This was a preventative measure. I did not have breast cancer nor did I carry the gene. due to other reasons, I was told this was a good decision. I made it clear that I only wanted surgery if I could have a full reconstruction from my body as I have plenty of skin and tissue in my stomach from a previous weight loss. That was documented at every single appointment I went to prior to having my surgery in September 2025. I made it abundantly clear I did not want implants and did not want the surgery if that was the outcome! At no point in time was I told I was not getting that surgery, and there were witnesses in my appointments with me. he conducted the surgery, removing both breast, knowing he was not going to do that reconstruction surgery with my tissue, but did not share that with me as I would not have had my breast removed! I’ve had to have… emergency surgery after the surgery he did because I got a rare infection. I kept screaming from day one of the surgery that something was wrong and nobody on his team would listen to me! I ended up at an emergency room twice before having to have the second emergency surgery. They offered no antibiotics, they kept telling me nothing was wrong, when I was showing visible signs that something was terribly wrong! Now I am forced with the decision of having a concaved chest or some type of implant which I do not want because he chose to do the surgery without telling me that he was not going to do the only surgery I was interested in! There were multiple doctors involved in multiple people in this team And regardless of the fact that I have documented proof multiple times of telling them that is the only surgery I wanted, I am now stuck with no breast, temporary implants in that don’t fit, and that are sticking out of my skin catching on stuff, they hurt, I can’t go back to Cleveland clinic, and now I have to find an entire different surgeon and different hospital to complete this whole mess! Do not use this doctor! I was told to go to Cleveland clinic and trusted that they are supposed to be the best. This guy has a 2.3 rating out of a five on health grades. Stay away from Cleveland clinic and stay away from this guy! This is a surgery that once he messes up, you can’t fix! I am now in therapy due to this, I am having all kinds of other problems due to this, and currently seeking an attorney! He’s getting 1 star because ZERO isn’t an option!!!

Would not recommend Dr. Schwarz if you are looking for a surgeon experienced with Lipadema. This is not his specialty.

I had a problem after surgery. Dr. Schwarz did a very poor follow up after surgery. He was always late, not paying attention to my complains, not explaining what was going on. His assistant was rude, making it like it was all my imagination. I would not recommend Dr. Schwarz.

He refused to do the type of surgery needed - only giving half truths as to why, downplayed the severity of my condition, and showed no empathy, only impatience, at emotion. No thank you.

There are not enough words to describe Dr. Schwarz's talents, abilities, and intelligence! I lost all faith in doctors many years ago so when I developed an aggressive basil cell skin cancer on my nose I neglected having it treated resulting in the mohs surgeon having to remove my entire nose, along with parts of my cheeks, Dr. Schwarz spent countless hours figuring out how to reconstruct my nose. I am forever grateful to Dr. Schwarz for making me look normal again! I am so lucky to have him as my plastic surgeon and could not have went through any of this horrible ordeal with any other doctor. He is the greatest and I highly recommend Dr. Graham Schwarz if you are looking for a top-notch plastic surgeon, you will not find a better doctor or human being than Dr. Schwarz! I thank him and his team from the bottom of my heart.
