Excellent clinician, excellent bedside manner. I am no longer going to a "big name" doctor in Chicago as Dr. Chavin has proven his outstanding skills in urology. I am also a nurse and when I asked my peers for a really good doctor, his name came up constantly and I am so glad I found him to take care of my medical needs.

He is very knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable. He seems to be a happy person which helps your mood. He is an excellent diagnostician and knows his job well. I tell everyone how good he is and would recommend him to anyone.

After waiting almost two hours for the appointment, I finally saw the doctor. HE said Fridays area always busy (then don't schedule so many!) FAcility is "icky" and didn't seem very clean. He listened well, which I appreciate. Had me do a urine sample. No gloves given, no cleaner. HAd me bring it back and plop it on the counter in the exam room. I told him my other doc had seen too many white blood cells, one of reasons I was there. HE NEVER SENT THE SAMPLE OUT FOR A TEST!!! I had NOTHING from going there. Won't ever go back.

dr. chavin is very knowledgable . made me feel at ease and very compassionate.which i appreciated. had to wait approximetly a half hour, which isnt bad for a specialist.i definetly would reccomend.

I went to Dr. Chavin on a referral from my Primary Care Physician. I had to wait over 1hour and 30 minutes to see the doctor. The front desk staff was very courteous and professional, however I sat in an exam room for over 25 minutes and no one on his staff said anything about him running late at all. To his credit, he did apologize for running late, however my time is worth a lot to me and had I been late or missed the appointment I am sure I would have been charged. I got my co-pay back and left. I would urge this staff to be more forthcoming about the doctors wait time and keep their patients informed.

Dr Chavin is outstanding. He has some of the best bedside manners that I have ever seen. Dr. Chavin discovered that I had prostate cancer. His care, explanations of options to both myself and family were second to none. He really cared about me. He contacted me when I returned home from his appointments as well as after removing my prostate. I believe he saved my life. I would recommend him to anyone that needs to be seen. Thanks.
