Dr. Gregg Phillips Standage

I'm not certain if the young lady is a nurse or CNA or what, but she could use a little explanation of what her job is. Dr. Standage ordered a LOT of different xrays, scans and blood tests. xrays of lower spine, thoracic spine, and cervical spine, chest, and US or sonogram of liver and spleen as they felt a little swollen. I saw the doctor yesterday at 11am. It's now 6:44 and I have made neumerous calls to find out why the orders are not yet faxed to the hospital so I can schedule all these tests. I phoned Dr. STandages office 4 or 5 times I think and Northern Cochise Community Hospital where I am going to have these tests done. I ended the day by telling the girl at the docs office to mail the orders to me and I will hand deliver them, how rediculous.

I saw Dr. Standage and was impressed. He spent time with me as a patient and listened. This is rare with doctors. One of the things I needed as a sleep study. The office staff said they knew of only one place to do them, which was fairly far from my house. I did some minor research and found one around the corner from where I live. I spent two weeks trying to get them to change the location and the kept making excuses - they did not know how, the person who did that work was missing, etc.Additionally, I had some complications from one of the meds Dr. Standage put me on. I called repeatedly and got no response on that. I ended up in the emergency room and had to have my meds altered there. When I finally was able to speak to the office manager with Dr. Standage she simply said they likely never passed the message to him because he is a very busy man with multiple offices.The doctor seems caring and competent. The staff is horrible and puts the lives of patients at risk. I… dropped all services from that Dr. and am looking for another. This is a shame as I have significant health issues that really should not be delayed at being looked at.

I consider it a privilege to share my opinion of Dr. Gregg P. Standage. . I can say without hesitation that Dr. Standage has exhibited nothing less than exemplary performance in his treatment of my medical condition. I have known Dr. Standage in a patient-physician relationship for almost 4 years now and I see him on a monthly basis. In that time I have grown to know and respect him and that is important to me. I have to like my doctor because my medical condition is complex and I think that helps me get the best treatment. I recently had to retire from work due to my medical condition and disability. This was a scary time for me. Although his bedside manner is mostly business since we have such a long relationship I have gotten to know his sense of humor which he shows to lighten things up when needed. I can recall countless occasions where something different came up during our monthly appointments and due to his passion to do the best and give me the most thorough treatment he… chose to make himself available and look into, research and resolve issues that couldnt wait until our next monthly appointment. I have presented with difficult situations over the years and he has always resolved the problem with the best possible solution. Dr. Standage treats people with respect and expects the same in return. He is an objective individual that can make sound, consistent diagnosis. Dr. Standage proves himself to be very knowledgeable in his specialty of Internal Medicine. He also has proven to be a very fast learner, as was demonstrated by his extra research on my behalf into my Diabetes and complications especially my extremely painful Diabetic Peripheral Poly Neuropathy.Dr. Standage completed his residency in 1995 in one of the top 25% of facilities, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. He holds himself accountable for his performance by continuing to educate himself and keeping up to date in his specialty. He strives to help his peers and staff in his area of expertise and it shows because his nurses and staff are as knowledgeable as they are courteous and efficient. Dr. Gregg P. Standage exhibits excellent managerial and people skills when it comes to working with his staff and the public He is a trustworthy hardworking individual. He is a true professional and expert in all aspects of his practice. He would go above and beyond when and wherever needed, this was proven by him being there for me as I worked my way through the Social Security Disability Maze. He is constantly striving to make himself a better Doctor. I can attest to this as his patient and I hope friend. I would definitely recommend Dr. Standage to my friends as well as others.
