He has also served in many capacities at Providence Hospital, including Medical Staff Executive Treasurer; Chairman of the Interventional, Utilization, Medical Records, and Critical Care Committees; member of the Risk Management and Clinical Care Committees; and Administration Director of the Coronary Care Unit. As an instructor in physical diagnosis, cardiology and paramedics, Dr. McKendrick has received teaching awards from Providence Hospital’s Department of Medicine, and he was awarded ‘Teacher of the Year’ by the Family Practice Program.
