I dont even know who this is and somehow I'm being charged?? Really??

Correctly diagnosed my problem. Ordered and preformed EGD without any complications. Office staff do not have name tags on so you never know who you are talking to. Linda his medical assistant, lied to me regarding a follow up appointment after Dr. Blitz and I discussed something totally different. Apparently this has been an issue before. Highly recommended physician. Only con is that he is a part time physician but work every day. He only goes to Methodist Hospital.

After reading the previous reviews, I had to write one and say that my experience with Dr. Blitz is nothing like the ones described in earlier reviews. I have been seeing him since 2012 and the only problem I have had is with the office staff not being very friendly or helpful when I have a question or need to reschedule a appointment. If he was not a good doctor, would he be as busy as he is? You need be direct and firm with him respectful and he shows you the same in return. Highly recommended. And yes, I have seen him for EGDs, colonoscopys, and just OV. Linda, his medical assistant is rude and disrespectful and none of his staff wears name tags in the office which would be nice. His Fishers office is now closed, which is disappointing since now I have to go to Methodist.

I would never wish this doctor on my worse enemy. I was referred to.him for an endoscopy. He did not put me under. I continually gag thruntje whole procedure with my legs drawn up toy chest. He kept.quelling at me to relax and telling the nurses to pull my legs down. Your gag reflex is not something you can control and why would any doctor put a patient thru that much. I had a colonoscopy scheduled and immediately cancelled that.

I had an endoscopy and colonscopy done the same day. I totally woke up during the colonoscopy. He said well you have adhesions so this is hard. He did give more medication. Then in the recovery area the nurses were to draw blood which they didn't do when it was ordered with the IV. Due to dehydration (he was running 3 hours behind), they were unable to get blood so someone comes in and does an arterial stick! (I know an arterial stick when it's being done believe me). After that I was to be escorted out with the wheelchair. Everyone in the recovery room left. I AM THE ONLY ONE THERE! On top of that, they left the hep lock for the IV still in my arm. I removed that when I was home.!

He lacks much bedside manner. Seems very distrated. He persormed my colonoscopy, and eventhough I told him that the medication had not fully taken affect he continued anyway, ignoring my rather apparent discomfort. He administered the medication and began the procedure with 45 seconds. I know that he is busy, but they could have at least allowed 5 minutes for the medication to become effective.
