Dr. Gregory J Celaya, MD

A patient of almost 26 plus years. Dr. Celeya is a good doctor, unfortunately the same cannot be said for staff. Namely, Dan who has no bedside manner and does not like to be held accountable to do his job. A simple task, made him upset, put out and unbelievably rude. I am certain that his behavior is due to the relation, (job security), unfortunately as the cost of losing patients and possible lawsuits due to hindrance of medical care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Celaya's for about 10 years. He takes time to listen to patients. I trust his judgment to the degree that I don't mind seeing any Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners associated with his practice because I know he chooses experienced qualified professionals with good humor and a similar approach to patient care. One indicator of quality in his office is his office staff, most of whom have been with him since I started with him. As a RN with many tears of experience and a jaundiced eye toward questionable practice, I recommend Dr. Celaya to anyone seeking a family practice physician.

You know it's time to fire your doc when the call to the office makes you feel sicker than your illness. It is a shame really because Gregory is a good doctor but his secretary is the worst and I am done. I have been told, "he is too busy for you," "you have not been in here in a while so what do you want?" and the worse one yet, "If you had Medicaid I could get you in faster." Worse service ever. I had severally abnormal lab work detecting cancer and no call back.
