Dr. Schwartz is a gastroenterologist who specializes in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. His national research focuses on capsule endoscopy and small bowel tumors, with expertise in biliary endoscopy and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Schwartz has been practicing in Corvallis since 2006. “My goal is to provide the highest quality care in both the endoscopic and clinical management of digestive disorders while maintaining the utmost respect and compassion for the patients of our community.” Dr. Schwartz earned his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and medical degree from Tel Aviv University's Sackler School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Miami. He is board-certified in gastroenterology.

He even called me when he finally found out what is was, even though no one else could!

Dr. Schwartz is the only Dr. who found my problem and called me himself to let me know of his findings. I have never had a doctor do that. He was determined to find out my problem. Wow! I say!

I have not seen Dr. Schwartz myself, but my brother and sister-in-law rave about how he is treating my father. My father is in early stages Alzheimer's and has had pains in his stomach and lower for YEARS. He has had surgery (very expensive surgery) under another doctor's care and the problems remain. Dr. Schwartz has vowed to find the problem and fix it. I am thankful he is now in charge of my father's care.
