Dr. Gregory Lamar Fortner, MD

Not enough words to say how great he is. World class-

This was the best experience that I have had at a doctors office since I was a child. Dr Fortner and his staff take the time to actually see you, talk to you and find out what they can do to help! It's not an in/out, write a prescription and see you back in 2 weeks deal, it's the real doctor/patient experience! I will never see another doctor as long as Dr Fortner and his staff are in Reidsville, GA

Dr.Fortner is rude and not in this profession to help others. knowing people who know him personally he should treat others with more compassion of mental health issues and drug. he himself being a recovering alcoholic and homosexual he has no business in this profession

Dr. Fortner knows his stuff! He is kind and very professional. I trust him with my health.

Dr. Fortner is rude and uncaring, uninterested, and does not take his patients seriously. He questions patients' motives for therapy and argues with patients' claim of mental disorder (even with history of problem and complaint of symptoms). He tells patients their symptoms do not match criteria for the disorder they are describing and and yet is not intelligent enough to diagnose what is "really" wrong with the patient. If he is treating someone with a disorder he is not very familiar with, he will not admit to this and refer the patient out. He would prefer to make the patient feel stupid. He needs to go back and read the DSM, and learn some empathy. He is very close-minded and unprofessional. He asks inappropriate questions and has a suspicious attitude. He does not smile and is not friendly with his new patients. He's the kind of psychiatrist that makes you wonder why he even went into that field.
