Dr. Gregory John Bennett, MD

Dr. Bennett acts as an IME for the workers' compensation board. My boyfriend was hit in the back of the head, by a co-worker, over a year ago. He has been to see Dr. Bennett twice for the workers' compensation board. In both appointments he seems confident and competent. He's not being paid to treat Dennis just evaluate him but in the recordings he seems genuine enough and knowledgeable. During the first appointment Dr. Bennett asked if erections were a problem. My boyfriend stated that we had not even tried to have relations, at that point of his injury. Dr. Bennett gave him a lecture on the difference between physical intimacy and an erection. During his last visit, ordered by comp. again, Dr. Bennett asked the same question. My guy, being embarrassed at the last scolding, just answered in the affirmative. In Dr. Bennett's report for the comp. board he states that my guy is sexually active. He never asked that specific question. He wrote up a report with misinformation because as… Dr. Bennett has explained in the prior visit there is a difference between physical intimacy and an erection. My guy and I have attempted physical intimacy once in almost 15 months and it was awful. He was in so much pain that we were unable to continue. Dr. Bennett didn't ask that question and although he is supposed to be an IME he has favored the comp board in his recommendations. It is a shame that our lives were completely upended 15 months ago but the almighty dollar dictates our life outcomes.

Dr. Bennett saved my life, and I could never thank him enough. He makes sure his patient is completely ready before they leave the hospital. Thanks again Dr. Bennett

I wrote a review of a doctor that I have followed with, dr. Gregory Bennett for just over 30 years a few months ago maybe more than a few! I did not take the time, to check my spelling grammar Etc so I will try to clear up any confusion here. This is the neurosurgeon, that you want to come to if you have needs and are willing to work with the doctor, towards a common goal. If, on the other hand you are just coming to a doctor to get pain medicine, and maybe you should think of going to another doctor! Dr. Bennett, just successfully performed to date, that is a left ulnar nerve surgery similar come up to the one I had many months ago and I am recovering, with his help. I have a primary care provider unfortunately that is an office day of that cannot do things the right way, dr. Amed's office on the other hand knows what they're doing and if you take the time to be patient with them they will be patient with you. I can't tell you how grateful I am that this person came into my life, and… all of the people that work for him. I highly recommend this office for competence, integrity, compassion, oversight, detail, and is other people have reported. Do about it will contact you and you may need to contact him and he will make himself available as needed. I have never had a time that I was not able to get a hold of him when he wished me to keep him up to date on my current circumstance. You're not going to find many doctors like this. Period. I highly recommend! I believe in a creation for so I will say thank God for Doctor Bennett!

Care of my wife's spinal problem and subsequent surgery ... very thorough with excellent communications both with my wife and with the family. A true physician.

My name is Michael Mooney, I have been following with doctor Bennett since 1988, where he gave me great advice about functional ability, and how to avoid a back surgery, and I have successfully done that for 30 years, thanks to him. If you're curious about doctors and methodology as to why he's asking you if you smoke what you eat where you live what you do these are all things come up that way into his factors and trying to assess your current condition as well as the condition that you came to him for. If you have a little bit of a wait I've never had to wait more than an hour when it was super jam-packed and there were double-booked patients because doctor had so many operations. This is rare I usually wait about 20 minutes at the max. His office there was kind and courteous Patty, and Mary and I know one sweetheart I'm forgetting right now, are all instrumental and have been instrumental in my health care and a seamless operation. If you're looking for pills you better go… looking somewhere else because this isn't a pill-head doctor take a hike! On the other hand if you truly are in pain understand, that this is a conservative doctor and on a case-by-case basis I have seen many things and heard many things in the waiting room. 90% of those things are good, most of the time people are going to be because they are inviting which is, understandable. Like it says and the title get it while you got it he's not going to be here forever! I highly recommend this office to anyone. I am having a surgery similar to the one he performed on my right ulnar nerve successfully sometime in the next couple months to my left arm and I will update this rating and review after my recovery period.

Dr bennett is unreachable during his off buisness hours and an urgent situation. Beeper number provided does not work or im being ignored when i contact it. I leave messages for hin with secretaries are being undelivered or ignored!

Always questioning overall health too! Not just worried about condition bringing me into his office. He even checks my fingernails! I would highly recommend him.

Dr Gregory Bennett impressed me with the high degree of professionalism and care he extends to his patients. I met Dr Bennett years before he began treating me for a cervical spine injury in 2011. That first impression made me searched for his practice when I need a trusted doctor. Dr Bennett takes the time to listen to you, gives advice and explains all procedures. He has great bedside manners when his patients are hospitalized. He has done a Cervical Spine repair and fusion for me and the surgery went very well. I am now working on full recovery with physical therapy. Dr Bennett excises great professionalism in all he does. I have the greatest respect for his office staff who keeps things running smoothly, I have experienced the shortest waiting time of any other doctor. The one best thing I can say is that Dr Bennett treats his patients as humans (rather than income) and shows an overall interest in their well being. Hats off Doctor you are the best.

well I have done a lot of research on doctors and the doctor seem to have good reviews except for the first one that I had read on these reviews so I gave him the benefit of the doubt well let me tell ya I made an appointment in my referral did not go through the first time I had to go back to my doctor because I have not seen them in a year once I got my referral she gave me an appointment a week later, at that appointment the doctor never showed up after driving an hour and a half to get to this appointment then they made me appointment for Thursday 2 days after my first appointment again the doctor didn't show up so they made another appointment for Friday as I'm driving in they called and said the doctors going to be late which I understand doctors have emergencies that's not what about it I finally got to see you on Friday he didn't have my MRI report from the radiologist in my file never even asked anybody for this doctor was more concerned about smoking and all my pills I was on… my medication the only thing he did was go over my medications prescribed thanks for not smoking never asked me anything about my back I have 3 herniated discs and a bunch of arthritis I've been dealing with this for 15 to 16 years or more never examined me he finally asked for my MRI report when we got to the counter instead he was talking about breast cancer,and: cancer that I might need to go and have a colonoscopy done because I'm almost 50 never did he ask me about my pain what was going on why why why was I there to see him stay away from this doctor obviously he wants to be a general physician I don't understand if he is a neurologist we should have been talking about what my problems were not about my health. please be awareI have no idea why he didn't even talk to me about my back and what my problems were more concerned about me quitting smoking which I really don't smoke all that much nothing again about my back to me that is not a back doctor or a neurologist

I went to Dr. Bennett with extreme unbearable pain. He told me I needed a spinal fusion, but he refused to do the surgery until I made an appointment with another doctor for my depression. Told me to come back in a week and if I have made the appointment...he will schedule surgery then. Funny thing is that Dr. had the same last name. Next day I went to another surgeon who put me in the hospital and did an emergency surgery on me. This guy is crazy!
