Within 30 seconds of examining me for the first time, Dr.Kitagawa diagnosed me with a rare condition, provided no information, told me not to do my own research, and sent me on my way with a prescription that subsequently caused so much tissue damage that he made my issue 10x worse. When I came on for a follow up after dutifully applying the steroid cream nightly, he told me I was over reacting about how my body was responding and that he didn't understand why I was do upset. Finally, he shooed me on to a specialist who confirmed that Dr. Kitagawa made a huge mistake and that my tissue now resembled a post menopausal woman 30+ years older.

Dr. Kitigawa delivered my first child. Toward the end of my labor, Dr. Kitigawa told me calmly but firmly that needed to deliver the baby right away. He coached me through the next few moments, and my son was delivered safely. I later learned that my son's heart rate had dropped severely, as the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck in the birth canal and must've tightened as he was making his way through, hence the need to deliver immediately. I had no idea how bad the situation was, because Dr. Kitigawa managed us though it calmly, keeping us focused on the objective. I believe that Dr. Kitigawa saved my son's life in the delivery room that day. I tried for several years afterward to have him assigned as my ob/gyn, as I was so impressed by him. I am fortunate to now have him as my ob/gyn. He is, without a doubt, the most efficient, thorough, professional, communicative and compassionate physician I have ever had, and he is the standard by which I will measure all other… physicians. He is an exceptionally gifted physician who clearly loves practicing medicine and puts his patients and their families first. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-knotch ob/gyn. There's none better out there, I guarantee it.

Dr Kitagawa delivered 2 of my children. He is an excellent doctor ,he takes as much time as needed with his patients and even calles to see how we are doing . I recommend Dr Kitagawa to everyonw looking for a doctor during there pregnancy

Dr. Kitagawa is a proffesional and geniunely compasionate. I was 24 weeks and in premature labor, I was transferred from Hillcrest to Metro. Dr. Kitagawa went above and beyond his duty as a doctor. He was geniunely kind and compassionate. While my son was in the NICU Dr. Kitagawa would go check on him to see how he was doing. That meant so much to my husband and I. He truly cares about his patients.Even though Dr. Kitagawa was not my OB, he told me that if I had any questions that I could make an apt. with him. I will never forget his kindness, compassion and that he even I was no longer his patient or under his care he would check to see how my son was doing and to see how my husband and I were. I will never forget that.
