Gregory J. Przybylski, M.D., M.B.A. is a board-certified neurosurgeon with both orthopedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship training who specializes in the comprehensive management and treatment of spinal and peripheral nerve conditions. For more than two decades, he has applied minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of an array of spinal conditions, including cervical and lumbar stenosis, degenerative disc disease, disc herniation, sciatica, scoliosis, spinal tumors, spinal fractures, and spinal fractures.
Dr. Przybylski serves as chair of the Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey, where he leads a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists and radiologists utilizing innovative new treatments to provide comprehensive patient and family-centered care.
After attending Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Przybylski went on to complete his neurological …surgery residency and spine surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete three additional spine surgery fellowships at the Hospital St. Vincent de Paul in Paris, France; Hospital St. Roch in Nice, France; and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He has received a number of awards and recognitions for excellence and innovation in patient care, including being a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 15 years in a row, Jersey’s Best Top Doctors for 12 years in a row, Jersey’s Best Top Doctors for Cancer for nine years in a row, and New York Magazine Top Doctor for two years in a row.
A leader in his field, Dr. Przybylski has been a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a member of the North American Spine Society, the largest medical association of spine specialists, where he served as President in 2011.
