My husband had several large metastases to his liver (stage IV CRC). Some surgeons wanted to just do palliative burning of the lesions. We went to Dr Veillette for a second opinion and boy, what a difference. He was optimistic, had a plan to go for cure (PVE, then the hepatectomy) and then executed it perfectly. My husband thinks he walks on water - he gave him hope. I am a surgeon myself and say you cannot be in better hands. Technical excellence, great bedside manner, thinks outside the box. Office staff also thorough and caring.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 Liver Cancer back in 2015. I was introduced to Dr. Veillette from my gastroenterologist when I was diagnosed. I was very scared when I found out that I had stage 4 cancer and was told that they are going to have to remove 70 percent of my liver. I cannot express how relaxed Dr. Veilette made me feel when he explained how the surgical procedure and the recovery was going to go. Not only did he do a wonderful job on my surgery the after care that he provide was just as great under the circumstances. He went above and beyond to make sure that he treated me like I was his VIP patient. I couldn’t have made it through such a difficult time in my life without him as my treating physician at the time. It is now 2018 and I am still cancer free since my liver resection. Thank you Dr. Veillette I will always be great full to you for saving my life.

I was transferred to Westchester Medical Center from Hudson valley Presbyterian Peekskill/Cortlandt after the surgeon messed up my surgery. Dr. Veillette was the surgeon who said he can help. If I didn’t get the surgery to fix the mistake I would have died. Dr. Veillette not only helped saved my life but he explained everything and also checked up on me numerous times a day after the surgery. I’m so grateful for him and I can’t thank him enough.

A cousin of mine was operated on by Dr. Veillette. He had wonderful people skills and a great bedside manner, you rarely find talented doctors that can talk to patients. Highly recommend!

Dr. Veillette has been taking care of my mother Dulcelina Petreca at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla NY. We have no words to describe his professionalism and expertise as a doctor.
