Dr. Gregory Kwocknyee Yim, MD

We saw him a few years ago for my child. He did not give a proper physical exam, drew conclusions on my child's neurological functioning from what he was doing on a casual basis in front of him (eating a sandwich) and then gave us patently incorrect information on my son's condition. Avoid this doctor. And don't be surprised if you can get in to see him on short notice, because the other, legitimate doctors are busy.

Dr. Yim is fine but his office staff are very unprofessionial. Borderline rude. I'm surprised that a neurologist of his statute has such an abrasive office manager. Fortunately, there are other neurologists in Honolulu with better staff so I would recommend seeing one of them instead of Dr. Greg Yim.

It's best to make your appt at the start of Dr. Yim's day. He's very popular and sees a lot of patients which makes him run a little behind. But he is well worth the wait. After arguing with another physician for nearly a year, he was able to make a diagnosis on my daughter the first time he saw her. The man knows his stuff and will answer any and all questions you have.
