Dr. Gretchen L Hittle, MD

Dr. Hittle was very open and honest with me, and I really appreciated her willingness to address my concerns. She asked me to stop apologizing for my anxiety, and made me feel better about what I was dealing with. I would recommend Dr. Hittle if it weren't for the fact that she works in Urgent Care, and I'm not sure if those doctors see regular patients, or if they just do Urgent Care rounds.

I went to Salem Hospital Urgent Care for a panic attack and the Gretchen Hittle (She doesn't deserve to be called a doctor) started questioning me as if I was a liar and treated me like I was wasting her time. She actually asked me why I was there!!! She got angry with me which sent me into further panic at that point she told me to move so she could get out of the room and I fell to the floor and she left me there on the floor crying my eyes out and almost hyperventilating. Luckily my mom was there to help calm me down. I will NEVER go to the Urgent Care again! This was one of the most traumatic experiences I've ever had. This lady should not be practicing medicine!

she was very aware of my type of injury ... But to make sure she was correct she ordered xrays .. she was friendly and courtiess .. in my opinion she is a top rate doctor... sorry grammar and puncuation.. reveiwing from my phone

I visited urgent care because I had twisted my knee, and I couldn't walk or stretch it. To diagnose it, Dr. Gretchen pushed on one side of my knee while stretching my leg, causing me much pain. It felt like she was breaking my leg. When I reacted to the pain by pulling my leg back, Dr. Gretchen looked at me angrily, and told me that if I didn't let her push my knee on all sides, which would definitely hurt, she would not be able to help me. I asked her if she could be somewhat gentler or more patient, or if she could not guess what my injury was from my symptoms (where it hurt, how I could and couldn't move my leg). She refused again, angrily, and left the room. I started crying because she was soooooo mean to me, so un-compassionate and impatient, and now my trip to urgent care, which was very difficult (I had to be carried there) was for nothing. A waste of time.
