I had a choice of Orthopedic Doctors to select from. I did my research on the Doctors selected and then chose Dr. Dumont as the Orthopedic I wanted to talk to. Dr. Dumont explained in terms I could understand as to what he would have to do in a “total reverse shoulder replacement”. From my first phone call to my first visit Dr. Dumont staff has been Nothing but the BEST. My surgery went like clock work at Parkridge, the staff there is also tops! Thank Julian (receptionist) for your help, Nicole (Dr. Dumont office and surgery nurse) you have been over the top answering questions and helping with my schedule and Dr. Dumont you are TOPS. As I have stated before your staff is remarkable and the BEST! Oh yeah, total reverse right shoulder replacement and no pain!!! THANKS YOU ALL!!!

I cannot thank Dr. Dumont and his team enough for the help they have given me. I had seen multiple orthos before finding him, and was told to try pain management and steroid injections. I'm only 26 years old and I was in severe pain when bending forwards or trying to put socks/shoes on - pain management was not the answer. Steroid injections would work for short bursts of time but the pain would come back, and I knew there was something wrong. From my first visit Dr. Dumont was incredibly caring and informative. His team got me in to see him quickly, he walked me through the process of surgery and recovery, and answered any question I had. This part was important to me: I never once felt rushed. Within 2 months I had my first appt and surgery scheduled. I am now 6 weeks post op and have had a MUCH easier recovery than I ever imagined. I was terrified of surgery as I've never been through it before, but Dr. D and his team are nothing but respectful and knowledgeable. I would recommend… him to anyone. EXCELLENT - THOROUGH EXAMINATION W TIMELY ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS-EXPLAINED ISSUES W HIP AND PROGRESSION AND WHAT TO EXPECT- REFERRAL FROM DR. MAUZOUE WAS TIMELY WITHOUT LONG WAIT FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY AND REST WHICH WAS UNFORTUNATELY NOT THE SOLUTION TO HIS PROBLEM AS SURGERY WAS REQUIRED TO REPAIR INJURY. MY TEENAGE SON WAS AT EASE W INTERACTION W DR. DUMONT AND TRUSTED HIS RECOMMENDATION- DR. DUMONT ALLOWED MY SON TO DRIVE THE DECISION FOR TIME OF SURGERY WHICH ULTIMATELY POSITIVELY IMPACTED OVERALL SUCCESS OF HIS PARTICIPATION IN POST SURGERY PROTOCOL AND REHAB.

What can I say...Great!!!! Don't look around like I did for months to find someone to help with the hip pain that doesn't seem to end, check out Dr. Dumont and the crew with Sports Medicine. They will get you in quick and find your problem and get you fixed up before you know it. I had pain in both hips for years and within two months both hips were pain free and I'm feeling great and ready to hit the road. Planning to buy a bike and start riding and taking up walking again. Dr. Guillaume D Dumont did a awesome job on my hip. I wasgoing to sent to Atlanta for same procedure , but someone recommended that I come here. it was the best thing I could have done. I feel 100%.

I was having a lot of hip pain with working out and just everyday activities. I had tried steroid injections and physical therapy with no long term relief, and my pain continued to get worse. I finally visited Dr. Dumont and we decided a hip arthroscopy was my best option. It is now 6 months out and I am very pleased with my results. I am now pain free and fully back to my normal activities. I can run around with my young children again without any pain! I wish I had looked into having surgery earlier in this process, so I could be back to where I am now sooner. Dr. Dumont and his staff were wonderful. They didn't miss a beat when it came to any questions I had throughout the entire process!

Dr. Dumont and his staff are an excellent team! The team has answered any questions or concerns I've had related to my hip, and they've always quickly responded to my phone calls, scheduled my appointments with no problem, and the wait time for my appointments was excellent. My surgery went well, and my recovery was smooth and easy. The team has always made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend anyone see Dr. Dumont for hip related injuries. Prior to my surgery, I'd heard Dr. Dumont was the best in the field. Now, speaking from experience, I absolutely agree.

This truly impacted my life in a way i never expected. I have always been a outdoors man and very athletic and my hip having a labrum tear really changed things. I'm 19 years old already had a hip surgery but after 6 months I feel almost back to new. Its a hard recovery and the pain stays for a while, but with PT it will reside and you will be able to do all your things again. Its a long road if this happens to you but it will get better. I had a huge tear but Dr. Dumont truly helped me and fixed everything and now I'm almost back to where I used to be with my hip.

The first 6 weeks 50% weight boring was the worst part. Pain was well managed. 3 Months out it is going well, minimal pain and if I had to do it again I would. Prior to surgery I was barely moving and now my activities are coming back into play. Dr. Dumont and his staff have been great. Highly recommend!
