Dr. Gunasiri Samarasinghe

Dr. Samarsinghe is an arrogant, rude, short little excuse of a man with no empathy for anyone. All that office wanted to do was give injections so they could get several thousands of dollars each visit. Injections didn't help me at all so I had to switch the the God forbidden narcotics. All I can say is may God have mercy on me (& you if ur reading this) if you have to take pain pills because your a pill seeker if you the injections don't help or if you can't tolerate them. I had to lie about my pain scale number because Dr. Samarsinghe threatened to take me off of pain pills if they weren't helping (because I needed a higher dose after 6 yrs) & I ended up with degenerative disc disease, osteoporosis, sarcoidosis, fibromyalgia, & several other autoimmune (rare) disorders. After being on meds so long they quit working especially as you get older & in worse shape. I just kept my mouth shut after I found out how the game was played and pretended like the dosage was working great… otherwise he would have taken everything away. An evil person :( It's really a shame when you have to rely on ppl like him just to get minimal relief. His office staff lost the release I signed for my records to be sent to a new doctor so tomorrow I have to make a 2hr trip back to Roanoke to do it all over again. His office said the paper got lost (by itself :) )! Anyway, all of the other clinics spots are filling up and here I am without a new dr because of his incompetent staff. Thanks again Comprehensive Pain Mgmet! On a positive note though I really liked Arun Sun, the P.A. She is a great person :) Have a lovely retirement Samarsinghe..may you need some pain relief someday and be out of luck!

Dr. Sam is finally retiring. Well, good luck Dr. Sam at least you know that you are not needed anymore. You give the whole profession a bad name. You succeeded in getting patients addicted to strong narcotics and then you run in my case you "dismissed me" from your care. You never cared for one of your patients, it was always about the money. Shame on you!! I hope you can live with yourself. What you have done in the name of Pain Management is a disgrace!
