Dr Gurpreet Singh Padda, MD, MBA, MHP, MD

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Padda, MD, MBA, MHP is an interventional pain physician, anesthesiologist and addiction medicine specialist in St. Louis. He is board-certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine, interventional pain management, addiction medicine and obesity medicine. He has led the Center for Interventional Pain Management at Padda Institute since 2001. He also manages inpatient pain care at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. He is certified in age management medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). He also trained in regenerative medicine and holds the ASIPP competency certification in Regenerative Medicine in Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Padda treats chronic pain as a whole-body problem. Pain, poor sleep, weight gain, blood sugar and medication dependence feed each other, so his plans treat them together. He doesn’t treat them in separate silos. Every plan starts with a diagnosis. Procedures relieve the pain enough for a patient to rebuild …strength, sleep and metabolic health, and that rebuilding is what keeps the pain from coming back. Training. Dr. Padda earned his MD at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He trained in general surgery at Cook County Hospital / University of Illinois–Chicago. He completed his anesthesia residency at Washington University–Barnes Hospital, where he was Chief Resident. He taught anesthesiology and pediatrics at Saint Louis University and earned an MBA there. He has served as president of the Missouri Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and as a board examiner for the American Board of Interventional Pain Management.
