I appreciate that Dr. Halamandaris is upfront and honest about my recovery. He has been nothing but respectful, which I also appreciate. He is a good doctor and a good surgeon. I appreciated that he did not question the severity of my pain and prescribed appropriate pain medication that actually helped with my pain. Highly recommend.

He attentively listens to his patients and thoroughly discusses various treatment options for their ailments. I have undergone two back surgeries of different types performed by him, and both resulted in flawless outcomes. His demeanor is more akin to that of a friend rather than a mere doctor or surgeon operating on an assembly line. Dr. Halamandaris made me feel like I was in excellent hands for my cervical spine issues. He is up to date in current treatment modalities as well as having a warm bedside manner. I feel safe in his care.

Gus is an awesome surgeon and man. He’s done 2 of my 3 cervical spine surgeries and even revised a surgery that another surgeon has done. He’s caring, honest and is excellent at what he does.

This will be my 3 back procedure And he is nothing but perfection. His bed side manner is beyond , he doesn’t talk at you he talks with you. I feel so comfortable and completely blessed to know I’m in the best of the best of hands. Thank you for always listening and understanding .

What can I say? Dr Halamandaris will be performing his 3rd surgery with me! I’m so grateful for him! The Doctor was running a few minutes late but it wasn’t a big deal. I’m 21 days out from my bi-lateral lumbar decompression surgery and my back feels better though not fully healed yet. I will start physical therapy soon. Doctor Halamandaris has an excellent bed-side manner and he is super communicative. He’s patient and takes the time to answer all one’s questions. His staff is also excellent. I’m very optimistic about my recovery and if things continue on track, I would count my surgery as a huge success. I owe this success to the Doctor and his skills as a surgeon.

I had a wonderful informative consultation with Dr Halamandaris. He thoroughly explained my situation and options. I feel very confident in my decision to wait for my surgery if there are any signs of change in my condition. I would highly recommend him to everyone. Very friendly and great sense of humor. We immediately connected when we started talking about our cats. He took the time to explain and show me and my husband my CT Scan and MRI in his office. I trust him and did not feel any pressure for whichever decision I chose. He also has a very friendly staff. All in all it was a great experience.

I love this Doctor. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He addresses every question you ask him .He has a good sense of humor and great bedside manner. I would not go to anyone else. Worry that he will retire.

Dr. Halamandaris is a wonderful surgeon. His sense of humor makes me forget about my pain, and we know humor is great medicine. His professionalism and attitude makes me feel very comfortable. I am very lucky to have the best surgeon in Monterey County
