Dr. Guy Robert Powell, MD

My husband has severe PTSD with extreme trust issues. Dr. Powell has gained his trust and helped him acquire confidence. Dr. Powell is gentle, caring, thorough, and highly educated. A better match couldn't be found.

Walked in with no introduction. Did not read chart or ask background or even why I was there. Went off of incorrect reason that nurse had passed on. Did not even bother to read paper I filled out as to why I was in urgent care.When asked stated he had no access to my records.He did no assessment what so ever. I was in intense pain from chronic coughing causing spasms. He told me I was not and kept trying to treat me for the primary problem I was already seeing my regular doctor for instead of secondary pain issue. Never asked where or why there was pain. Laughed at me and treated me like some kind of bum looking for drugs.I actually asked if there was another physician and told him to leave the exam room while I was in tears. I dealt with the nurses the rest of the time. Horrible doctor.
