My son just had his last visit with Dr Akrawi and cried as he left. he has always given our family the comfort that he was doing the best for my sons healthcare needs. intelligent, kind, caring are but words to describe a physician of his stature. the only regret is that my son will never know better care from a physician.

Such a great doctor not just in the sense that he knows medicine through and through but he is extremely intelligent as well as coming off to patients/everyone as a truly and genuinely caring personally. He is the doctor who makes you feel like you are in the right office; who gives you a sense of relief knowing your child is in the hands of a more than competent, kind, likabl, and great dooctor. He doesn't try to quickly get you out the door so as to move on to the next patient like some doctors do, but he truly cares about his patients. He is also very charming and easy to talk to. Overall-his personality added with his intelligence equals the best doctor I could ever hope to find for my child.

The best doctor my kids have ever had!

Both of my children (6 years old and 9 months old) are in Dr. Akrawi's care and I couldn't be happier with a pediatrician. He is always friendly, always great with the kids and NEVER makes me feel like a crazy mom for bringing my kids in. He is very accessible after hours and has even called back on the weekend to check on my sick child. We always trust his diagnosis and treatment. Also important to note, he never "man-handles" the kids. He's very gentle and quick with and exam. We just love Dr. Akrawi!

Dr. Akrawi has allowed me to call his personal phone when my children have been sick. He even called me back several times on the weekend to check on my children. He is always considerate and caring and there is great peace of mind knowing that he is well respected in his field. Doctors at the Emergency Room are always grateful he is my children's doctor. The staff always returns my calls promptly and professionally. Even though we have moved, I still make the drive to Grand Blanc because the quality of care is top notch!

Dr. Akrawi has been our pediatrician for over 12yrs. He is very caring, thorough and professional. He takes time to teach both kids & their parents. And he is always accessible, even when on call, after hours. The few times I have had to call, he or his staff return calls promptly, follow through with any requests, referrals. His nurse Kim is also excellent, caring, as well as receptionists, other staff members.

Dr. Akrawi is the best pediatrician in the area. He is very knowledgeable and has a great "bedside" manner. My son has been his patient for 13 years and I would (and do) recommend him to anybody who is looking for a pediatrician who really cares about his patients. Just can't say enough great things about him!
