Dr. Hal F Martens, DO

He treated my wife for many years in a satisfactory fashion. Recently we declined a medication that insurance wanted us to pay $1,000.00 a month for and he got angry and cursed at her. Now we received a registered letter without warning or explanation, declining to treat her any more. The office called to verify that we had received the letter and to cancel her next office visit in 2 days. When we asked why he was refusing to treat her we were put on hold......and left there...…. I can't help but wonder if he would feel as free to curse a grown man instead of a lady in pain?

Now, without warning or explanation, we have received a letter declining to manage her treatment any further. When the office called to verify receipt of the letter we asked why and were put on hold....and left there. I have to wonder if Dr. Martens would be so cavalier about cursing at a grown man instead of a lady? We're in the middle of a pandemic and he is abandoning a long term patient, leaving us to scramble around trying to find a new doctor. A real role model for modern medicine...

Knew I was on pain meds, told me not to go to pain management, he would care for me. Then took tests, withholding information from said tests, charged me an insane 100 no show fee after I was told they wouldn't accept medicaid.. they are horrible people!! Run away!!

I have been here twice so far. Very impressed with the office and Dr. Martens.

This man is a God sent. He is quiet and really explains everything that is important to my health. With his knowledge and wisdom and the guiding hand and favor of God I can boast and say that my particular disease is in remission. He is trust worthy. Thank Dr. I have already thanked the Lord.

Dr Martens and staff are awesome.

Great caring Dr.Nurse Tina is the greatest..lab is always so sweet

After being told to see a rheumatologist, I saw Dr. Martens one time. Today I got a call from his office saying to not come back. The pharmacy called and told him I was taking too many medications. My primary physician has been caring for me for 5 years. I take only what is prescribed. I never asked Dr. Martens for Rx, and yet his office staff called and told me I wasn't welcome back.

Dr. Marten was excellent. He took plenty of time to explain what was going on. Very professional yet kind. If there's anything to criticize it would be that the follow through with staff was less than desirable. Prescriptions and lab work keep getting messed up.
