In July of 2004, Dr. Abou-Faycal began his fellowship training in infectious diseases at The University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center, during which he received specialized training in treating infections in bone marrow and solid organ cancer and transplant patients.
His practice took him to Colorado from 2006-2009, where he was attending physician in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Sterling Regional Medical Center.
