I was young 26 years ago or so I am now 50 not one problem since he performed my l4 and L5 if i ever had a problem again I would go to him a again a great guy, and outstanding surgeon. He even travels to 3rd worlds and helps sick people.

He is the 'BEST"!!! I am so sorry you retired Dr. Goulart! You have saved my life from permanent paralysis....I had a diving accident, I didn't have any feeling in my hands, I was told by several teams of Doctors to have surgery, every day they would come in to convince me to have surgery, until I asked Dr. Goulart, he advised to wait and see and 3 weeks later I had full recovery!!! If it had not been for my 2nd opinion, Dr. Goulart, I would have permanent damage still today!!!

Which doctor spends 2 hours with a patient to evaluate and one hour to go over the MRI result? It tells you how a great doctor he is.

I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. Goulart. I am recovering right now from the second 7/6/2010 a partial discectamy L4/L5 feeling a thounsand times better already. The first time i saw Dr Goulart I had major pain and numbness in both arms and hands. As an auto tech for thirty years my hands are my life. I had seen six different doctors before hearing about Dr Goulart. All six seemed afraid to do the surgery. Until I met Dr Goulart he just exuded confidence and made me feel at ease about the whole procedure i had a disc fusion C5/C6/C7 that was six years ago and i feel great. Thanks Doc.

Had a severe back problem (two herniated discs and some bone spurs). Surgery was performed by Dr. Goulart.

Dr. Goulart is one of the best doctors I've ever had the honor of meeting. He treated my mother, and there aren't enough words I could use to describe hime. His caring was genuine and his bedside manners incredible. And his talent as a wonderful surgeon was apparent after the operation when my mother no longer had to suffer. Like I said, not enough words to describe him.

I would recommend him to anyone in need of a NS. His professionalism is outstanding as is his bedside manner and ability to show great compassion.
