Dr. Hannele M Laine, MD

I absolutely LOVE dr. Laine. She delivered 2 of my babies. She is so personable and truly listened and cared with what was going on with me. She also involved my oldest with everything in each appointment I had which made her feel extra special and that much more excited to be a big sister!

After years of being seen at this office and feeling very good about going there I will NEVER go back. My last 2 dealings with them have convinced me. I went in for my yearly physical in the spring, 2015. Dr. Laine's physician assistant saw me. Remember that Dr. Laine lists post menopausal as one of her specialities. The first words the PA said to me upon walking into the room were: "You are 74. Why are you here? You are 74. Why are you here? You should not be here." I sat naked or I would have walked out and at that point I couldn't even talk. I was near tears. She was rude for the entire time she was in the room. She told me 'you have your last pap smear at a certain age, your last breast exam at a certain age, your last........etc.' and they were all before age 65. I can't remember it all, even though I have a good memory. It was a terrible experience. Why didn't someone tell me this earlier? Then we got the bill. Because I didn't "use the right words" … when calling in for the appointment (I asked for a yearly physical) medicare and my private insurance will not pay for the visit. There was "no" to every question I asked and finally here I am paying for this terrible visit. A year ago I went in after asking for a 'yearly physical' as I have every year for years. All went well then. No one told me never to come back. What happened? You can bet I 'won't be going there' anymore. Is this how this office now gets rid of medicare patients instead of just saying they won't take us when we call? I don't know, but I certainly can't recommend this office or doctor (even if she is good) to anyone else. I wouldn't wish these experiences on my worst enemy.

Dr. Laine is an excellent physician. She always took the time to listen to me. When I had complications with my pregnancy, she took extra steps to help me with all of the emotions and to help ensure the health of my baby. I would highly recommend her.

Highly recommend! Very VERY busy, but worth the wait.
