Dr. Hanumantha Rao Kolusu, MD

I dont see the purpose in having a medical practice when its impossible to get an appointment and then when you do get in it is a long wait, he is rude and everything is referred to iowa city... Once in iowa city you find out that he has diagnosed you totally wrong. Dr. KOLUSU HAS LITTLE COMPASSION FOR YOU AND YOU KNOW IT. His staff in 5 years has only been able to draw blood from me once after 20-30 attempts. At one time he was staffed with 2 nurses but has since replaced bis entire staff with untrained medical assistants. I understand they are payed less bit a nurse is a nurse for a reason. They are trained much netter and have legitimate degrees. ..

I think that the problem begins with the staff. They are very rude,snotty and always say how busy they are and how busy he is. Maybe they should schedule less patients and then they could give better care.He is not a good dr/no follow-up/no accurate diagnosis/no visits in the hospital.He's not good.

There is a reason you dont have to wait to see him. He is rude, crase, and unprofessional. No bed-side manner, does not make follow-up appointments even though you may need to have blood testing done or some other issues. He refers to many problems as not his problems and has not ever followed-up with any problems he has found. I would not go back or reccommend this so called dr. ever!

The overall experience with Dr. Kolusu is quite poor. He is impolite, dismissive, and, not invested in the patient as a person. This resulted in him incorrectly relaying medical information to a patient and caregiver. I would strongly recommend seeing another Dr. before considering Dr. Kolusu.
