Dr. Hany Fawzi Shanoudy, MD

My father, John Chester Stiteler, has been a cardiology patient of Dr. Shanoudy for many years. My father has always spoken highly of him. My father who is now 91 years old. and a patient at Encompass health in Altoona, is currently suffering from low blood pressure, which cuasing him extreme imbalance and dizzyness each time he stands up. this man is wonderful.....great heart doctor and so kind and understanding....making u feel that he is so wanting to do the right thing for u...My Husband and my self have seen this doctor.....I am so glad that we have such a great healer and friend.

I've been a patient for many years. Dr. Shanoudy and Dr Gattuso are phenomenal doctors!!!! Accurate diagnosis, wonderful bedside manner, spends the time that you need and listens to your concerns and answers any questions you might have. Wait time is terrible as they are always behind.... The only negative is front end staff. Once Dr. Shanoudy and Dr. Gattuso combined their practice with the others, the front office staff has been horrible. When you call to schedule an appointment I usually end up with someone that doesn't know what they are doing and puts you on hold numerous times to go ask questions. Never ever had that before. If you get transferred to the wrong department, you get put through to voice mail and good luck getting a call back within 48 hours. Usually takes calling back again. It's not just me but it's happened to 2 other family members also since the merge with the other doctors and new front end staff.

Cares not just for cardiolgy concerns but the whole body 6 yrs as a patient -the best
