Great service and knowledge

I saw Dr. Gogia when I was a patient in the ER. I was very impressed with his bedside manner. He decided to run a number of tests as an outpatient. The longest time I had wait over 4 visits was 15 minutes. His staff was very friendly. Fortunately all my tests came back negative. I was very glad he scheduled the tests he did. I no longer have to worry regarding my heart health. All my tests were scheduled right away which I have heard could have taken months months with other cardiologists. I was very impressed with the care I received.

Please do not give your credit card info over the phone to any of their front office employees. Once they didn't charge me any co-payment during the office visit and later they sent me a bill of $55. Then I called them and paid with my credit card which I use only in the Costco store. After 3 days, I found there were a lot of fraudulent charges on my credit card bill. I have nothing against the doctor. He is good. His front office employees are not trustable and rude too.

Very disappointed. He declined to talk to me after my mothers visit because he apparently had nothing to say to me. Just like Dr Gogia I’m a board certified physician and have never (and would never) decline to speak to a family member about a loved ones results. A simple office visit would’ve taken a sum total of 30 seconds to go over with a family member but he couldn’t be bothered. So now my mother who lives in a different state has to try to interpret what Dr Gogia told her and explain to me. Total lack of professionalism. In addition to this I came to find out he did an exercise stress test in the office prior to even going over her medication. It was typed out and readily available. She’s on 3 medications, not exactly a huge list. Yet again, he couldn’t be bothered, and went ahead with a test only later realizing she’s on a beta blocker and the interpretation is functionally pointless. If he’d spent 10 seconds looking at her chart or listening she could have avoided… an unnecessary test. All the fellowships in the world don’t make you a good doctor. One of the highest complements you can get from a colleague is that you’d want them to treat your own mother. I told my mother to never go back him and find somebody who actually cares enough to read a chart and make a single phone call.

My husband was diagnosed having a stroke, took him to emergency to prevent another and he didn’t even come to se him, we had to call him when we saw him and he barely acknowledged us, did not bother to ask or see how he was feeling. He doesn’t care

Dr. Gogia seems to be competent in his field of expertise. I always feel comfortable asking him questions that can only be answered by a specialist with his knowledge and experience. Dr. Gogia takes the time to explain any details regarding his diagnosis and testing and treatment. You can know with confidence that if you seek cardiovascular treatment from him you will not be disappointed. Yes, some of his staff have bad attitudes sometimes but so do all people and Dr. Gogia is so kind and forgiving that staff sometimes take advantage of his kindness. Most important is patient care and that is obviously the priority at the offices of Dr, Gogia.

I felt I was a number rather than a living patient that needed reasurrance and direction. He was most aggitated when I said I had gone to the web site to find more medical information. My desire was to have questions ready for him that he, as a professional could answer. I did not receive an answer to my guestion but a lecture on the inadequacy of any web sites being less informed than a poorly paid med. student. I found him insulting and I am still stunned at his lack of ....caring.

He is a good doctor. I highly recomend him. My father used to be his patient and now i have chosen him as my physician

He was my mothers doctor before she recently passed away at the age of 80. He took care of her for the last three years and i accompanied her to many of her visits to his office and in the hospital. She thought very high of him. I found him to be very compassionate in dealing with my sick elderly mother. What impressed me the most was how he handled end of life situation before she passed away. I will recommend him to anyone who needs a caring MD
