Have you seen Dr. Harish Porecha?
time for him to retire...
Posted on May 16th, 2014
as a patient of his I can agree with the first three reviews. He has openly admitted me he is not qualified to deal with my condition and has recommend I see another Dr due to his age. He may have been a great Dr at one point but not anymore. I have a very difficult disease to deal with and I can't reach him when treatment is needed. I am not trying to be mean or rude just truthful. He is a nice person but I don't real trust him as a Dr anymore. Not to mention he never shows up to the clinic I see him at on time.
Who are these people leaving reviews for this Dr.?

To the first commenter, the Medi-Cal practice that Dr. Porecha practices at is not owned by him. He is hired to work for this office by the owner of the clinic. The person who owns the clinic employs Dr. Porecha and the owner is responsible for hiring and training the medical staff and for keeping the facilities clean. To the second commenter, did Dr. Porecha get your diagnosis wrong? What exactly was your problem? Did you receive better care elsewhere? Since none of that was addressed, all I can assume is that this person is just trying to blow off some steam. To the third person, maybe you should have asked the Dr. to repeat himself if you could not understand him? Just a thought.

This doctor has two offices, one at memorial medical center and one hidden away in a shopping center for medi-cal patients. The one for medi-cal is deplorable. The staff is rude, the wait is long and the facility is unsanitary. His private practice office on the other hand is clean, I guess he figures that people on medi-cal dont deserve the same treatment as his non subsidised patients. This man should have his liscence revoked!
Time to Retire

Sorry but the man is a Quack in every sense of the word. He might have been a good doctor at one time in his life but he is old and has not kept up with new technology. And there is no room for mistakes when it comes to neurology. Seriously!!!!!The Medical Board needs to put higher restrictions on the practice of doctors that practice and perform highly skilled procedures.
