I've been going to Dr. Walia for 2 years during an extremely stressful time in my life. I've never felt rushed and she often asks question after question because she genuinely cares and wants to get to the real reason you need her help, not just to write a quick scrip. I couldn't recommend her more.

I'm not sure what the person below is talking about requiring blood work to get blood pressure. I've been going to Dr. Walia for several years and this is NOT true. My guess is that their blood pressure was not good and she wanted to check the blood work to help determine what is wrong. The other person rating a 1 star over some paperwork... this is an overall doctor rating. There are 7 items to rate when you write the review. How do you take into consideration the performance of her staff and rate her a 1 star as a doctor? She really tries to get to the bottom of why your body is not functioning properly. She even looks into your entire history for symptoms you may developed a few months or years back that you were not even thinking about. I've been to several doctors in this area and Dr. Walia is the most personable and caring one. They have followed up with me when needed and have returned my calls every single time.

You keep asking for the report and they don't send it. Sending report from Plano to Plano takes weeks for them. If you ask more questions they disconnect the phone.

She does NOT return phone calls.She requires blood work to check blood pressure. There is NO blood work you can do to check blood pressure.

She has treated our family for over 15 years. She has always been correct on her diagnosis and always follows up.If you have the opportunity for Dr. Walia to treat you, take it.

This doctor is great! You might have to wait in the waiting room a bit, but she spends time with her patients to really listen to them.
