Dr. Harmony Allison, MD

I have never had such a poor experience with a physician, particularly one that I chose and waited months for because she was highly rated?she was incredibly disrespectful and when she challenged me and I got teary she decided that it was a psychological issue rather than a chronic issue that seriously impacts my life. She compared my experience to other patients to downplay it and proclaimed ?you just have to accept this is something you?re going to have for the rest of your life?. I will never return and have sought treatment elsewhere and have already seen improvement.

Dr. Allison is kind, caring, and competent. She is a first-rate physician. I'm lucky to have her as my gastroenterologist.

I was seen by Dr Allison for abdominal pain. She was condescending and disrespectful. Not only does she have poor bedside manners, she had the audacity to imply that my pain was over-exaggerated. She INTERROGATED me about the authenticity of my symptoms. Who does that to a patient? She barraged me with questions, but would repeatedly talk over me when I tried to answer them. Her lack of listening skills is apparent. She speculated about multiple possible diagnoses without any concrete evidence, while offering up contradicting logic. Go see Dr. Allison if you want an inexperienced and presumptuous doctor with an argumentative disposition.
