I booked an appointment for my wife. Provided her condition and insurance information. Received confirmation. Showed up the date of the appointment only to get told in a very cold way” we don’t accept that insurance anymore “ I said why no one told me or gave us a call to let us know before we show up with kids in a cold morning. The office manager and the young front office lady seemed careless, they got busy defending themselves and giving ridiculous excuses instead of taking ownership of the mistake. Spoke with the doctor who owns the practice couple weeks later. Seemed very disinterested to understand what happened and has no clue what insurance his office accepts or not. They lost few customers as a result of their poor customer service attitude and their carelessness.

What a wonderful doctor and staff!! In scheduling an appt. for surgery with Dr. Chug-Loy ( for another matter) my mother had a very difficult health problem! Together with the Doctors in his office and his wonderful Staff and the EMTS at JFK Hospital, they were able to treat her and was sent home latter that evening!

Said I needed plastic surgery , and swore it would be covered by insurance, following a hernia repair. He had ME call his partner plastic surgeon, who REFUSED to see me unless I could show him I had at least 7k since insisted I was asking for something cosmetic. Told Chung-Lou his person he dealt with refused to see me, then I never heard back from Chung - Lou , after he quickly took my $400 for a consultation since he did not accept any insurance.
