Dr. Haroon Rashid

I had a-fib and a-flutter. I was very nervous about having the ablation procedure but cardio-versions were not working. Dr. Rashid did not pressure me in any way but patiently explained the condition, the procedure, the chances of success, etc. His confidence gave me confidence and I am most pleased with the results. He is also most caring and concerned about me long after the procedure. I have a heart beat rate app on my iPhone. Dr. Rashid noticed it one day during a visit and expressed an interest in getting weekly updates of my self-monitored heart beat data. I send it to him weekly and he answers my email, sometimes with a comment, very soon after I send the data. I am pretty sure the procedure has worked and I thank Dr. Rashid for giving me back my vitality and a full activity life style!!

dr. rashid is a superb doctor who is genuinely concerned about his patients. he clearly and fully explains the problem, as well as the plan to address it. before i saw dr. rashid, i went to another practice and was not impressed by the doctors there. dr. rashid was my "second opinion" and i could not be happier that i took the time to see him. i was told at the time that for a-fib, he was the best in the metro dc area. i have not been disappointed. i highly recommend dr. rashid to anyone who is suffering with a-fib.

If you have A-Fib or other rhythm problems, this is your man. He is in much demand, so getting an appointment is not always easy, but in an emergency situation you can get right in. He is technically top notch, gives good explanations of complex problems, and explains all the options.
