I am writing this review to document several issues I experienced with this cardiology practice that ultimately caused me to lose confidence in the care being provided. My first visit was in November. From the start, I was concerned about the cleanliness of both the office visit rooms and the restroom (not the reception area), which appeared unclean. While this may not directly affect clinical care, it did not inspire confidence in a medical setting. The doctor ordered follow-up testing for December, including a stress test, echocardiogram, and heart monitor. Communication from the office staff (RMAs) was inconsistent. The day before my appointment, I received multiple reminder calls. During one of those calls, an RMA explained the tests and associated costs and advised that a manual stress test would be sufficient and that the echocardiogram was not necessary. This information appeared to be understood and accepted by the staff member I spoke with. On the day of testing, I arrived… early and completed my stress test ahead of schedule. Afterward, I waited for over an hour without any communication from staff. When I finally approached the front desk to ask what was going on, I was told that my heart monitor appointment was not until later that morning and that the reason for the delay was because the office did not currently have any heart monitors available. Had I known, I could have left and returned later instead of sitting in the waiting room. I left to run errands and came back closer to my scheduled time, only to find that the monitor was still unavailable because the previous patient had not returned it yet. The lack of equipment and poor coordination was frustrating and unnecessary. At my follow-up appointment, I was brought back promptly by an RMA who took my vitals. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, the doctor entered the room without any charts, signed into the computer, looked at me, and asked for my name. When the doctor entered without reviewing my chart and asked for my name, it fundamentally undermined my trust. In a specialty as serious as cardiology, patient identification and preparation are critical. If a physician does not know who I am or why I am being seen, it is difficult to feel confident continuing care. After logging into the system, the doctor became aware that the echocardiogram had not been completed and asked why. I explained that I had been told by the RMA that it was not necessary. At that point, the doctor said that I needed to return to complete the echocardiogram. While I did receive reassurance that my condition was not immediately life-threatening, the repeated breakdowns in communication, lack of preparation, and overall disorganization left me feeling like just another number rather than a patient. When the RMA came in to schedule the echocardiogram, I asked if it had to be done at this office and was told yes. At that point, I declined. Trust is essential in healthcare, and I no longer felt comfortable continuing care with this practice. Between the cleanliness concerns, inconsistent communication, equipment shortages, long waits, and lack of preparation at visits, I feel I wasted both time and money. I am now seeking a cardiologist who demonstrates better organization, communication, and bedside manner.

Dr, Rashid is one of the best doctors I have visited. He is thorough, thoughtful and insightful in his diagnostic abilities. I highly recommend him.
