Dr. Farber is an exceptional doctor. He is one of the top doctors in the world treating Pulmonary Hypertension and several other pulmomary diseases.

Our family can't say enough ggod things about Dr. Farber. My husband was recently been diagnosied with Limited Scleroderma. And WOW Dr. Robert Simms and Dr. Farber have taken the reins and are running full steam ahead. Its a crazy confusing disease, he is straight forward honestly scarie, with a twist of calming humor. You see he cares for everyone of his patients, takes the time to answer all questions always follows up with a phone call, works to keep all the Dr.'s on your case well informed. He who you want in your corner.

Dr. Farber called me HIMSELF and then actually listened to me and then reviewed what little medical records I could send to him from Fort Wayne, IN. He agreed that based on my 11 idiopathic symptoms of Pulmonary Hypertension, I needed to be tested for it. (This was after FIVE medical specialists in Ft. Wayne, IN had REFUSED to test me for PH because I look healthy and they all said I couldn't possibly have this rare condition.) Hap Farber tested me in Aug 09 for PH, and found that I DO have it. Lucky for me, Dr. Farber didn't buy into the local doctors "hypochondriac" diagnosis, and he diagnosed me before the usual PH patient is diagnosed...on oxygen 24/7 and in need of a heart/or heart-lung transplant. Hap Farber stated, "My goal is to prevent you from ever getting to that point." By giving a name to my 11 conditions, Hap has extended my life. It's far less expensive getting medical treatment in Boston, MA instead of the continuous ongoing expensive testing from my 3 former… specials. With Dr. Farber's specialties, he's two of my 3 specialists. Great personality, too!
