Dr. Hassan Yassin Zammam, MD

I saw Dr. Zammam for the first time yesterday. I had been at his office a few weeks previously and saw his physician assistant for an issue I was having. Let me just say, the PA was much more professional than Dr. Zammam was. He came in not knowing I was there only weeks before, thinking that my appointment with him was my first appointment. He didn't even know about blood work I had had done, under the PA's direction, and only then just looked it up when he came into the room and I brought it up. Right off the bat, he started asking me about low potassium levels from several years ago. I explained that I did get treatment for it, but he just kept asking me the same question over and over again, even when I answered it the same. Then, he decided that since I am 31 and only blood pressure medication, that I need to go on birth control. He did not ask me, he told me that I need to, despite me saying I would like to speak with my partner about it first. If that was not bad enough, he… also decided, not asking my opinion, that he was going to take me off of my blood pressure medication, the only medication that my previous doctor and I have found to work, and put me on another blood pressure medication. If he would have actually looked at my records and read my history, instead of focusing on one thing, or asked me, he would know that the medication he wanted to switch me to was one that never worked for me. I ended up walking out of my appointment because of how unprofessional he was. Not just his conduct within my appointment, but it also took him 45 minutes to come in for my appointment. I will not being going back. Not back just to him, but Blair Medical Associates. The whole practice is unprofessional.

I sit in this guys office for over an hour EVERYTIME I go and see him 10 minutes at most. Knows nothing about me, questions why and who prescribes my specialty medicines and refuses to address my other health problems. Asks why about everything. It’s like everytime I have an appt, I’m a new pt! Doesn’t do all of the things he puts in his summary. Too many pts in his practice. It’s a shame to be stuck with him because there are no other drs taking new pts. I’d give 0 stars if I could

he is wonderful thoughtful and takes his time with you...never feels rushed
