Dr. Heather C. Nardone, MD

Dr. Nardone treated my child for many years and performed two surgeries when his adenoids regrew. However, the third time I raised concerns that they had grown back again, my concerns were immediately dismissed and I was told this was “unheard of.” I participated in sleep clinic meetings with Dr. Nardone and other staff, but they often seemed unprepared and quick to shut down my concerns rather than truly listen. Because I still felt something was wrong, I sought a third opinion at CHOP. They listened carefully, evaluated my son, and confirmed that his adenoids had grown back a third time and performed surgery. About a year later, when my son again began struggling to breathe, I returned seeking help but felt dismissed and pacified instead of supported. I again went to CHOP, where they listened and confirmed his adenoids had grown back a fourth time. I truly wish my concerns as a parent had been taken seriously earlier, as my child has suffered unnecessarily because of the delays.
