Dr. Ventura has a level of sophistication that helps her staff stay organized and her patients hopeful. She reminds me of the scientist Madeleine Jacobs, who was quoted saying, "Improving people's lives through the transforming power of chemistry." When she became my Primary Care Provider, I had been jumping through hoops for about a year and half and was being misdiagnosed and malpracticed upon by a variety of MDs, NPs, a DO, etc. I was just getting increasingly more irate as time passed, and was already in contact with JAG and civilian lawyers ramping up for a tort claim. Por ventura, she stepped in and cleaned up a mess that was not hers to begin with. She has the gratitude of many medical professionals at Naval Health Clinic New England as a result. She left her personal opinions at the door during our appointments and was future-oriented in addressing my Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). Her interactions are straightforward and precise. She has a reassuring presence I would… describe as that of a trustworthy Naval officer. Although first impressions are lasting in nature, they can always be improved upon. My impression of her at our initial consult was that she was curious, smart, and aggressive. I am glad she offers her expertise in a male-dominated industry; I find it refreshing and motivational. Dr. Ventura holds high standards for herself and works harder than any other doctor I've interacted with. With that said, she also exhibits disarming humility and a considerable degree of empathy. If you are searching for a doctor who will offer the best solution for a complex range of issues, Dr. Ventura has an impressive track record. I recommend her without any reservations. God bless her.
