Dr. Hector Fabio Bonilla, MD

I have not had a good experience. Basically all he does is prescribe you ldn and thats it.

I can honestly say that dealing with this doctor office has been harmful to my health. The amount of high intense stress you have to go through to argue your way into an appointment for 9 months. Staff treats you like less than human. The perfect examples of 'not my problem' employees. Then the 2 times I have met with him he did his best to humor me when listing to me answer all his questions. But then went into his rehered speech about eating "healthy colorful vegetables" and "lean meats". Completely ignoring the fact that I have already told him that I am a competing athlete and watched my sleep and what I eat religiously before I ever got CF. Plus prescribes just one medication over the last 2 years ,that doesn't help at all, with no follow up because I can't get in for appointment. I can't even try to make a new one because the last two times I have tried it left me crying and emotionally scarred by the staff.

Dr. Bonilla is not helpful. I have me/cfs and he did not help me at all.

I did not feel heard during my appointment with Dr. Bonilla. He wants me to start a medicine that has no proof or studies of actually being helpful for CFS patients. You need to have reason and proof when prescribing medication to your patients. You do not want to make your patients who are suffering greatly to feel like guinea pigs in a trial. I waited almost a year for this appointment and was highly disappointed to say the least. Dr. Montoya was the best there was and he is definitely missed. For at least I felt heard and cared for as a patient. Dr. Bonilla doesn’t seem to want to get to the root of the issue, rather he seems to want to go the Western medicine route and just “band-aid” the chronic fatigue rather than actually getting to the root and healing the illness.

He doesn’t listen to his patients.he thinks he knows everything but he is far from that.

THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE. I'm disgusted with the way I was treated. I waited 2 years (through multiple hospitalizations) to get an appointment with this sub-par clinic. Hector is one of those doctors who thinks he knows everything so HE WON'T LISTEN TO HIS PATIENTS. I've seen other doctors like this, but Hector takes the first-place award for "horrible medical experience of the year." He interrupts you constantly, is extremely patronizing, and his lack of proper English makes it impossible to understand him. He can learn medicine but can't spend time learning ENGLISH? My spouse is from another country, so this is not coming from a place of racism (just in case whoever reads this chalks my message up to that instead of listening to what I'm saying). I will NOT see him anymore. I requested to have a nurse call me back because I feel a nurse will provide better care than a STANFORD "doctor." How sad is that?

Dr. Bonilla is one in a million. What doctor says to come and see him Sunday AM so he can check your problem? This man cares, is bright and is extremely kind. He saved my arms after surgical infections. I owe my arms to him. Literally.
