Dr. Hector Xavier Samaniego Jr, MD

My son was referred by another doctor and the moment I looked up Dr. Samaniego and saw his ratings I was instantly concerned. I went ahead and tried calling to schedule something I was then transferred to Jessica. She has never been helpful everytime I would ask her something she'd give me a short response and just hangup not allowing me ask another question or finish my thought. All she told me was that they needed a report so I sent it to them with my contact info. The manager Scott even replied at one point that I sent the wrong format which I resent again with my contact info. I finally called again because it's been several weeks at this point. I am of course upset because I am trying to get my child the help he needs and all I've gotten is the runaround. Jessica just kept saying she had no form of contacting me which is obviously a lie because again I emailed them the report they needed multiple times with my name and phone number. I asked to speak to the manager since Jessica… kept insisting I was lying that I didn't send my contact info. When I spoke to Scott the Manger instead of helping me and listening to me he doubled down and defended Jessica. He stated he only prints the reports and hands them to her and that's why she has no contact info. I then reminded him that I did in fact include my number with the email and the email itself is another form of contact so saying they couldn't reach me is a lie. They also could have called the doctor that referred us to get my info but there was no effort put into contacting us. If they didn't want to help us or take a new patient they should of just said that. It's just so crazy that this is a psychiatrist office and instead of being kind and understanding they gaslight parents and tell them to look for another doctor because they brought up a complaint .I've worked with multiple doctors and never would I speak to any patient like that. And if I ever received a referral with no demographics or insurance the first thing I would do is contact the referring doctor to obtain that information. I wouldn't just throw my hands in the air and say "oh well". Do not waste your time even beginning the new patient process with this office. Look for another doctor. Absolute worst experience.
