Dr. Heidi Jeanne Dorris, MD

Terrible. Out right laughed at me when I expressed my concerns about taking Chantix. Looks elsewhere if you want your concerns taken seriously.

I love Dr.Dorris. She's been my Doctor for 25 plus years! I am very happy to have her as my primary care Dr. She is loving, caring, and compassionate! Always greets me with a hug! She is the most understanding and compassionate, Doctor I have ever had! I have so much confidence in Doctor Dorris. Thank you Dr.Dorris.

This is your "go-to" doctor if you like cold, compassionless responses, a cold, abrasive nurse, and a difficult front office staff. I agree the PAs in this practice are more compassionate than anyone else there, but they are an outlier on the staff.

i love this doctor! She has been my PCP for eight years. Not only does she attend to my physical needs, she also follows my mental well-being. She is so warm, caring, thorough and thoughtful. She always greets me with a warm smile and handshake and has given hugs when needed. Yes, due to the electronic records, she does spend time on the computer, but realize that with a click she can see my meds, reorder them, check labs, see xrays, etc. She is a holistic doctor, looking at the whole person. i find the staff, from the receptionist, to the woman i call in to, to Dr. Dorris' assistant to be courteous, prompt and kind. Dr. Dorris is well worth waiting for. it may take a while to get in but that is because she is an amazing physician.

Always willing so see me, and never a rush

I tried to make an appointment with this doctor based on a recommendation from a friend. When I called in January, I was told that the doctor would not be able to see me until April--four months. Why is she accepting new patients if she doesn't have time to see them? My telling the receptionist that I needed to see her sooner than that because I needed a new prescription for birth control resulted in her telling me "go to Planned Parenthood."After that fiasco, I injured myself running, but didn't even bother trying to make an appointment. I found another doctor who can see me right away, and who has a pleasant receptionist. I'm sure Dr. Dorris is a nice, intelligent physician, but her receptionist(s) were terrible and completely dismissive.

I'm so impressed with Dr. Dorris. I've never had such an intelligent, caring, and thoughtful doctor.

right, for months I had trouble breathing and felt exhausted and ill. a chest xray showed a bubble on my lung...so she ordered a CT scan of my sinuses. at least the PAs can figure out what's wrong with you, but otherwise, find another doctor.

when did it become about doctors getting there chart notes done during the visit than actually looking at you. Pay attention to the patient not your computer!
