Dr. Heidi S. Rosenberg, MD

I will never go back to this woman. The first thing she asked me when I said my pregnancy was not planned, was if I want to get rid of it. That just goes to show her regard for the unborn baby, and the miracle of life itself. Oh yeah, she was super late. I had to go find her chatting it up with the nurses, to let her know I was waiting for over an hour.

Third time meeting with her. She was on time all times. Waiting 5 minutes for a doctor is not late, appointments do go over. She was kind, knowledgeable, direct with answers and even personable. Not sure why all of the negativity. She scheduled and set up all my future appointments and told me what to expect moving forward.

AVOID DR. HEIDI ROSENBERG AT ALL COSTS. This lady is not fit to be a doctor, we literally walked out of our appointment. She is the worst type of doctor you can imagine. Doesn’t listen to you, doesn’t have time for you, has all the answers for you before you even open your mouth. We literally left the NYU system because of her. Please please avoid her!!

This was my first and will definitely be my last routine visit with Dr. Rosenberg. To start, she was an hour late for my appointment. Things were only went downhill from there. She was extremely condescending about my immunization choices (and gave me an unprompted lecture that took up most of the short appointment). She even had the audacity to roll her eyes at me at one point. She rushed through the entire appointment and did not bother to ask me if I had any questions or concerns at the end (every other doctor I’ve seen has always made time for questions and made me feel heard). She was so nasty throughout the appointment, that I was on the verge of tears by the time it was over. If she’s on call when I deliver, I will be adamant about seeing another doctor.

Saw her once as she’s part of the rotating OB practice - she didn’t talk to me about the medical issues at all, just kept complaining that despite bad weather no patient cancelled and that her EHR laptop doesn’t work, and so she left abruptly in the middle of the conversation and never came back. Next day I found out reading my chart that all of a sudden on week 32, I became a “high risk” patient - no explanation given whatsoever. She also wrote she discussed preterm labor and other stuff w me which she never mentioned. I messaged her asking to remove that info from my chart so I can actually talk to another doctor about these as I feel worried now as to why I’m a high risk. She also put an order to schedule a follow up “high risk consult” for me and her schedulers spent an hour on the phone w me trying to figure how to schedule follow up when rehear was no initial, and said “you don’t need that service, we won’t schedule you”. She replied to my message lying that we “discussed sth… taking those line and if you’re not satisfied schedule another visit”. Awful dismissive unprofessional rude person who hates her job and hates people.

I saw her for a routine prenatal visit and had a truly awful experience- which says a lot considering the visit lasted all of 15 minutes. I was so floored by how rude and dismissive she was. She scoffed at my questions and snapped at me several times. One time she even rolled her eyes and laughed at me for expressing a concern. I have such anxiety now thinking she could possibly deliver my baby- I’ve loved all other OBs at the practice and am dreading having to see her again.

Dr. Rosenberg not only confused me for the wrong patient during my visit (she was reading the chart of another patient which she said "looked like me"), she failed to turn in my urine sample that I left at the office. I was explicitly asked to come into the office to test for a UTI that I feared I had, and she didn't even turn in my urine culture because she forgot. Is this the kind of doctor you want supervising your pregnancy? This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, professionally or medically.

Delivered my son! I had an amazing experience. To be honest out of all the women in the practice at cityscape I DID NOT want her to deliver my baby bc I saw all of these negative reviews about her...BUT she was amazing and my experience with her was wonderful. I had an amazing birth and I’m so happy she was the one that delivered my baby boy!

Rude and dismissive. Rolled her eyes when we told her our birth plan and said we could "walk from Westchester" and still be okay when we expressed concerns regarding distance of the hospital from our home. Meeting with her for our first OB appointment for our first baby was a mistake. She was negative and made our experience horrible. We immediately changed providers knowing there was a 1 out of 5 chance she may deliver our baby.

I saw Dr. Ronsenberg for a routine prenatal appointment. I had recently been hospitalized and also recently saw a specialist based on a referral from a different MD in her practice it she was unaware of both. ( both documented in their EMR) She clearly could not have have been bothered to even glance at my chart before entering the room. She just got up and left at the end of the appointment, no closing, no instruction, no “ do you have any questions”. I get it, it’s a busy practice and you see many patients, but at least pretend to care a little bit.
