Dr. Helen Lee Kornmann, MD

I have been going to Dr. Kornmann for about 2 years except for a pandemic interruption. I have full confidence in her assessment and treatemnt.

Dr Kornmann explains my eye condition in understandable language without a hint of condescension. Her calm, professional demeanor is reassuring to nervous patients. In surgery, she is focused on her task while remaining aware that her patient can hear her every word. I highly recommend her!

She help me through the worst pain I have ever had anywhere in my body that was my my right eye she is patient caring and smart and so is her assistant

Was told I had a cataract that needed evaluation. Made an made appointment and was told up front it would be 2-3 hour appointment.It was and found they were quite thorough. Excellent treatment and will schedule surgery ASAP. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kornmann is patient, kind, and attentive. I feel that she approaches my care with thoughtfulness and sincerity. I enjoy seeing her at each appointment. She and her assistant Ellen make each appointment enjoyable, like I am visiting with friends. I highly recommend Dr. Kornmann and her staff.

I found this office through my insurance company. I had no preference of doctor, and was placed with Dr. Kornmann in Plano. The scheduler Jennifer was very polite and professional, and made sure all my questions were answered prior to me even arriving. I definitely appreciated that, and felt like it was a good choice. Once at the appointment, I met Jennifer, who was as great in person as she was on the phone. Dr. Kornmann is amazing!!!! She has great bed side manner, spoke in a way that I understood, and broke everything down for me. I didn't feel rushed, or that I was just "another patient." I felt like she actually cared about me as a patient. All the nurses in the office were helpful, especially Gabby and Lisa. After my appointment I had another question, and Lisa came up and explained things to me before I left. I feel like the staff cared, and I am grateful that Dr. Kornmann is now my doctor.

I have enjoyed my time as Dr. Kornmann's patient so far. She is so sweet and down to earth. She makes sure to explain things in a way that clicks the first time. I ususally have her assistant Ellen (shes great!!) with me but my most recent visit Kandace went above and beyond making sure I understood my new medication instructions and found online where to send my rx to a brand new pharmacy. She was so willing to help instead of just rushing me out the door. I thank the staff at glaucoma institute for making sure I am comfortable with a great doctor and the staff helping me out so much.

Dr. Kornmann treats my mother and me for different eye conditions. Her gentle demeanor puts us both at ease while discussing serious concerns. She inspires trust in her skills as a surgeon and made clear all possible outcomes and possible side effects. The staff at Glaucoma Associates of Texas are welcoming, helpful, and professional. Mom and I have been through a myriad of tests, and each technician has been patient and compassionate.

I am very glad I was referred to Dr. Kornman for my glaucoma. Everyone is so nice. Priscila made me feel comfortable. I will recommend to my family and friends.
