Dr. Powell-Stoddart received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Oakwood College. She obtained both a Medical Degree and a Masters in Science Degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. She completed her Residency Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Powell-Stoddart specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and spinal injections. She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, and Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Orthopaedics. She uses an integrated medical approach to pain management.

Thanks to Dr. Stoddart and her immediate diagnosis of Parsonage Turner Syndrome and timely therapy I am once again able to ride my horse! So thankful for God putting her in my life!!!!

I'm 67 years old and have been in a wheelchair since 1969, and as you might suspect, I've seen many different doctors over the years. None of them compare to Dr. Helen. Both she and her staff are awesome!

She is very attentive and detailed..took the time to explain some very detailed issues and was right on for her treatment. I could ask for no better treatment and have referred several friends. Her stand alone practice is a rare jewel..

She is very concerned about my problem. Spends time in thorough diagnosis and in explaining why and what she is doing to find and treat my problems. From one full board blood test she found a concern that no other doctor had detected. She and her staff are a pleasant and concerned group. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She has a good sense of humor.
