Dr. Henneth Antonieta Corado Montenegro, MD

Here's a more polished version of your review: I was a patient of Dr. Corado Montenegro about twelve years ago when she was affiliated with Steward Medical Group in Brighton, MA. Unfortunately, my experience with her as my primary care physician was deeply disappointing. Despite presenting with serious neurological symptoms such as numbness and muscle weakness, she did not take my concerns seriously. Instead of investigating the root cause of my symptoms, she prescribed a daily antidepressant and lorazepam (a controlled and highly addictive substance) for anxiety—something I did not suffer from. Twelve years later, I was diagnosed with a vitamin B12 deficiency, an issue that could have been identified with a simple blood test back then. The lack of thoroughness in her approach caused me years of unnecessary discomfort and delayed proper treatment. I share this experience as a cautionary tale for others: if you feel your concerns are not being heard or adequately addressed, trust… your instincts and seek a second opinion. Your health deserves to be taken seriously.

I'm an old guy and have been around a lot of doctors in my time. Some of them include the Federal Air Surgeon of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and his staff that manage and conduct research along with directing the Drug and Alcohol Program. I've also been a patient of doctors who work at John Hopkins Hospital, Mayo Clinic-Rochester, The Cleveland Clinic, and Georgetown University Hospital. I compared Dr. Corado with all of these professionals who are experts in their fields and are all men. Dr. Corado is unique because she's willing to "Listen" to her patient, communicates openly and in a way that allows the patient to know he has been heard, and is willing to teach along the way (I love to learn). I'm a particular challenging patient for any doctor because my body has been known to produce outcomes that are not part of the norm when a doctor begins a treatment plan....she gets that. With other lesser performing doctors, my medical records have annotated describing me as… a Difficult Analytical Patient (DAP). Dr. Corado interprets me to be a patient open to learning new things while also coming to the office visit well prepared. In summary, I wouldn't trade her for all the wine in California. If you want to have excellent medical care that's based on knowledge and at least a hint of intuition, this is the one.

When told that a specific medication is not tolerated her response is that that doesn't matter she doesn't believe in the alternative meds. Additionally she flat out stated that she won't google anything since google has no valid information!

Dr Corado is very professional at the same time as being personable. She takes the time to really hear what's going on, and no issue is too small. She also responds on the network's online doctor patient communication portal.

Best doctor I have ever had!! Professional, friendly, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She truly cares about her patients.

The one complaint I have is that it takes an incredibly long time to get through on the phone to the doctor's office. However, I really like Dr. Corado!
