Dr. Henry Charles Barry, MD

Years and years ago my young daughter had to terminate a pregnancy. While it was not what Dr. Barry believed was right, it was the most sensible and difficult decision we has a family had ever made. I still remember the rudeness of his office staff towards me even all these many years later. They made a horrible situation worse. While my daughter was doing well as a young ice skater, they thought she was great, with Dr. Barry sending a letter of support. When the unthinkable happened and she became pregnant, the attitude towards my family changed completely. During this time I was also treated for a melanoma and not having a supportive health team did not help. I respect others opinions on termination of pregnancy but why not refer a patient and the family to another doctor? As I said, years and years ago but we still remember.
