Dr. Henry Cusnir

My name is Amie Donofrio. I’m 63. When I was 54 I developed AFib. I was frightened. This cardiologist walks in my hospital room named Dr. Henry Cusnir. He listened to me. He spoke to me in a way I would understand.’& made me feel at ease. A couple yrs later he found a leaky valve . He also advised me to have a cox maze with a surgeon he highly recommended and had him repair my valve... I didn’t have Afib for 2 yrs. He has me on meds that keep my Afib at bay. I highly recommend Dr. Henry Cusnir if you need a Cardiologist .He the best!

Dr. Cusnir is a wonderful, thorough physician. He began caring for my mother during a stressful emergency need for geriatric, oncological cardiac care- a veritable trifecta. He was everything you could wish for. He advocated for my mom and provided the most effective and comprehensive care I have ever witnessed. His partners are also phenomenal.

I got an appoint quickly . My appoint was on time. Dr. Cusnir listens and is very attentive. He takes time and answers questions and explains everything to you. He laughs and smiles and put you at ease. Most of all he is so knowledgeable. His office is very high tech and updated. Thank you.

Per a request to that office by Dr. Brezing that I needed to be seen immediately regarding a critical medical issue, I was quickly accommodated at the Heart and Health Institute. I do not remember most names but I will not forget that every employee that I encountered - the office staff, intern, technicians, support personnel and Dr.Cusnir were dutiful in their determination to handle a most critical step in providing me a chance to improve and/or sustain my health. That was Day One. On Day Two, diagnostic tests and other medical issues were quickly scheduled and completed with kind dispatch. Communication was clear. All of this was occurred in an environment that was orderly, aesthetically pleasing, and calm with a staff that reflects the wonderful diversity of South Florida.

I couldn't ask for a nicer or more concern Doctor.

I highly recommend Dr Cusnir! I went to the hospital with a mild heart attack, and he ended up being my cardiologist. He is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and has a sense of humor, which I love! I have since retained him as my permanent cardiologist, as I cannot imagine trusting anyone else with my cardiac care.
