Dr. Herschel E Stoller has the following 2 specialties
A dermatologist is a doctor who has extensive training and knowledge of the skin, scalp, hair and nails and treats conditions that affect those areas. These doctors will evaluate any abnormality, blemish or lesion on the skin in order to determine the cause and will determine a course of treatment.
Dermatologists provide patients with full body scans in order to identify any signs that are indicative of an illness that requires treatment, such as skin cancer. These specialists may also provide cosmetic services, such as mole removal, scar diminishing treatments and even botox and face lifts.
A dermatopathologist is an expert in both dermatology and pathology. They specialize in diseases related to the skin, but where a dermatologist would examine a potentially-cancerous mole by looking at it, a dermatopathologist would examine your skin cells in a lab, more like a pathologist.
Beyond just skin cancer, dermatopathologists also study a wide range of skin conditions, including everything from warts, moles, spider veins and herpes, to dermatitis, rashes, vitiligo and other conditions related to skin discoloration.

I don't see how this doctor is still practicing based upon the number of complaints from previous posts! I have seen him twice so far and twice I had to wait for either an hour or almost one hour. The staff definitely overbooks when it comes to scheduling. Other patients may have a lot of time on their hands but not everyone. You would think the staff would inform you when the doctor is running late, but this is never the case. I still have not found out the results from my other lab work performed from previous office visit. Was in shock when I received the doctor's bill. Not recommending anyone see this doctor. Staff is rude and very unprofessional. Dr. Stoller never followed up with me to see how I was doing after removing a cyst or other visit Highly not recommend!
I was referred to Dr. Stoller by my family physician for a rash on my eyelid. During my office visit, Dr. Stoller did not even look at my eyelid, but rather asked me to lift the back of my shirt up which I found odd at the time but I was taught to trust a Physician. He proceeded to scratch my back with an object over and over again. I was scratched so hard that I came off the table. Dr. Stoller then stated the skin on my back was red and welted (I think most peopleâs skin who is scratched would turn red). He prescribed me an anti-itch medication. He clearly did not listen to my concerns or the reason I was there. When I called later that day to discuss my visit the office manager was rude and would not listen to my concerns either. After no resolve or proper medical care I was forced to seek another opinion. I since have seen another dermatologist. After an extensive exam that did NOT require me to lift me shirt I was diagnosed with eczema and the treatment plan has worked and my rash is now cleared. I wrote a letter when I received my bill stating I wouldn't pay it as I was not treated for the rash. The office sent me to collections immediately. I would NOT recommend this dermatologist. If you are looking for proper care I would recommend Dr. Chris Huerter.
You wonder why he needs to advertise on TV. You walk incold but well- appointed office soon to leanr they are all cold. Like corpses. They do not "connect" with anyone comin to the counter other than repeating office directions like robots. Silly dog there. Ick. And Stoller... rudest man I have ever met. Sure hope this dude goes under. Sad to think people accept this type of treatment.
