Dr. Heywood William Zeidman, MD

Sharp should be ashamed and embarrassed to be affiliated with PCSD. This man had the audacity to tell me what my "problems" were in the short 5 minutes I had met him. He sat there staring at his computer screen reading the "notes" from the nurse practitioner and made his judgement solely on a few sentences. Sharp should reconsider their contract with PCSD. ESPECIALLY if they are all about the "Sharp Experience"

Never have I been to a more disgusting, rude dr. office. His staff is rude, his nurse practitioner isn't interested in the patient, only diagnosing and making the patient feel shame for having a mental health issue. The dr. doesn't even ask questions, he just talks, and tells you you look bad for addressing your concerns. His office is disgusting. You can't even see his desk, it's littered with a disaster of papers and clutter. He is a disgrace to his profession and does a disservice to his patients. DO NOT GO THERE!

This doctor misdiagnosed me over 20 years ago. It's a shame that he didn't take the time to make a formal and accurate diagnosis of what I was suffering with.

It's astonishing that someone who has spent most of his life as a doctor could care so little about patients. Dr. Heywood Zeidman MD is someone who has probably harmed many people who've sought help over the years so it's good to know he's 76 and near the end of his career. If you've had the misfortune of having Dr. Heywood Zeidman MD as your first psychiatrist, just know that there are doctors out there who take the importance of their role in society seriously so don't give up hope.
